Spinal Manipulation, Medication or Home Exercise
with Advice for Acute and Subacute Neck Pain

In this study, a total of 272 individuals were
treated for neck pain with spinal manipulation, medication or home exercises.

Take Home Points from this study:

1. Spinal Manipulative Therapy was more effective than
both medication and home exercise with advice.

2. Medication alone was the least effective
of all treatment interventions.

3. Participants were most satisfied with Spinal Manipulative Therapy
and least satisfied with medication.
